SPIDERDEAD 2025

this is spiderweb salon’s 8th annual SPIDERDEAD, our collective mourning ritual. friends & comrades are welcome to participate &/or attend at their own risk.

SPIDERDEAD centers loss, grief, death, mortality, & existentialism. SPIDERDEAD 2025 will take place the afternoon of sunday, november 9 at rubber gloves rehearsal studios. the event includes a reception & community potluck followed by the program. funeral attire is strongly encouraged. tissues will be provided.

new friends & spiderweb salon artists alike are welcome to inquire within: complete this form to participate in SPIDERDEAD. please indicate here how you plan to participate (note: interactive/experiential art is very welcome) &/or sign up for a (6-minute) set to share your eulogy (poetry/music/storytelling/skits/performance art/etc). if you are interested in contributing/volunteering behind-the-scenes ($$, ushering, security, decor, documentation, cooking, etc), please note on this form as well.

sign up deadline is the next full moon (october 7). participants will be contacted shortly after. SPIDERDEAD artists & volunteers will be invited to two HQ open studios to collab & create, as well as our annual [pre]SPIDERDEAD bonfire ceremony (november 5).

SPIDERDEAD 2025 will be emceed by our newly formed DEAD PET SOCIETY (accepting applications via jeanette).
