River Shell – Multimedia artist working in Dallas. Musically, River has a long track record of projects ranging from garage rock to experimental bedroom recordings, the latter of which is under their Curly moniker. A River show is often extreme and stressed DIY but sometimes they turn up in a gallery in Switzerland. Their most recent outfit is called The Pups, which is a duo with Jake Elliott. When they are selecting the sounds are often surprising and never, ever dull. @river_whatever

Jake Elliott

It’s hard to find someone who so embodies the presumed forgotten danger of rock more than Jake Elliott. A tattooist by trade, Elliott lives and breathes the mythologies documented in classic proto-punk bios. He wears his references on his sleeve with the enthusiasm of a first concert. The man who once tried to release 100 singles in a year—he got to 78—is also a wonderfully unpredictable DJ. He is sharing the decks with River Shell, who will also be performing. Their newest project is called The Pups and they just released their new album, “Rotten Thunder.” Expect chaos, but actually interesting. @jakeelliotthargrove
