Lend An Ear: There’s a lot of research on how to help someone in crisis but the one thing they all seem to agree on is that truly listening with an open mind when someone is in crisis is the best thing you can do. We’ll be sharing other sources for helping our community as well so come on out to Rubber Gloves on Thursday, September 3rd and LEND AN EAR to our music and our message.

September is Suicide Prevention Month and Out of the Darkness Community Walks are “held in hundreds of communities across the country….These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health.” From their website:
