Fresh Ghosts is a dynamic, lyrically-driven indie rock band led by Denton, TX-based recording engineer and guitarist Alex Hastings. The band released its debut album, Soft Edge, in September 2021. The Denton Record Chronicle has called Soft Edge “a sonic time capsule preserving longing, resignation and the kind of hungry hope you try to keep on a leash.” Fresh Ghosts’ sound has been referred to by the Dallas Observer as “a folksy indie-rock that’s often haunting in its dark turns.”

Harry Zimm was never supposed to get this far. What started as a casual outlet for hanging out and late night writing sessions blossomed into a new approach to music for singer/songwriter Andrew Rothlisberger and collaborator Eric Nichelson (Midlake). The two spent countless nights slowly allowing their sound to melt into what it was meant to be. The additions of Ramon Muzquiz (Pageantry) on drums and Bob Cummins Jr. (solo) on keys became the sunlight and water that led the songs to bloom into their final form. Patience and kindness are the backbone of the music of Harry Zimm. From method to final product, you can hear the subtle footprints of a journey that seems almost like a lucid dream more than a creative process. Quiet vocals, heavy grooves, and lush synths permeate the songs when they are at their most dizzying or restrained dynamically.

Sage Graye, led by best friends Devin Foster (vocals, acoustic) and Nicole Heinz (guitar), has been making music together for two years. Their upcoming highly-collaborative full-length album displays their journey during a period of vast learning through an evolving attitude of “never saying no” to musical ideas and experimenting with instruments, textures, and complex layering. Their sound is heavily inspired by a community of amazing musicians from whom they have received support. They are preparing for their next release with grateful expectancy.
