A Felted Take on a Cult Classic!

Come celebrate Halloween with Puppet Bucket & our hit show extravaganza, Rocky Horror Puppet Show: An Improvised Musical! This show is an improvised musical that follows a goody two shoes small town couple who take a very wrong (or maybe perfectly right) turn and stumble into a bizarre, otherworldly cast of characters. With puppets, a cult classic horror flair, and singing. This show leans into the seductive absurdity of transformation, self identity, and giving into your deepest desires. Designed for those who appreciate camp, chaos, and cult-classic energy, Rocky Horror Puppet Show invites you to cheer, laugh, and maybe even question what’s pulling your strings.

In true Rocky Horror Picture Show fashion, pre-ordered ticket holders will receive an exclusive prop bag, so grab your tickets now! This show is recommended for audiences 18+.

Puppet Bucket is an award-nominated puppetry troupe bringing bold, story-driven theatre to life, one puppet at a time. We combine classic puppet charm with quick witted, narrative improv. We were honored with a B. Iden Payne Award nomination in 2025 and an Austin Chronicle Best of Arts and Entertainment 2026 nomination, both celebrating our distinct voice in Austin’s theatre scene. Nocturnal Creatures Troupe presents: The Unsolved Mystery of Ms. Patsy Climb

An absurd puppet musical exploring the lives of three misfits on their quest to make it as street performers in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The Trio gets into all sorts of shenanigans, from getting addicted to “Crusties Hotdog Stand” , to refuting allegations of eating an ex lovers head. The story is narrated by Detective Bark, who uses his keen senses and logical mind to sniff out clues from the baffling events that have occurred. Will the creatures find fame? Or will struggles between the bandmates stop them from getting picked up by a label? Is their lead glockenspiel a blood thirsty diva? Will Detective Bark be able to crack this case wide open, and earn the title “GOOD BOY”? All these questions answered and more in The Nocturnal Creatures Show!!

Bio:
Nocturnal Creatures Troupe is a collaboration between artists Krystal Burns (Sweet Oddity) and Omer Gal (Cookie Tongue) spinning absurd tales of three nocturnal misfits, in the format of a puppet musical. Gal and Burns are established artist/performers/musicians and puppeteers, having performed at many festivals, venues and shown work in galleries, namely New Orleans Puppet Festival, Asheville Fringe Arts, and many more. They both love story telling through songwriting, puppetry and pulling imagination in from the otherside. Nocturnal Creatures Troupe aims to transport the audience out of the hum-drum drag of everyday life into the spirit of absurdity, joy and laughter, and to inspire creativity in the heart of every audience member.
