Assorted Potions – Austin TX Dungeon Synth, Soundtracks for the Hero’s Journey

Assorted Potions is a dungeon synth project based out of South Austin, masterminded by the elusive Threadmage. Evoking the lush and fantastical milieus reminiscent of composers like Joe Hisaishi, Final Fantasy’s Nobuo Uematsu, and various other RPG soundtracks, Assorted Potions is also heavily indebted to songwriting proclivities of indie-rock and emo. Of course the countless pioneers of dungeon synth and comfy synth that came before are massively inspiring to the friendly Threadmage. With 3 full lengths and a split with Deep Gnome in the catalogue, Threadmage is excited to return to Denton to manifest the live incantation of Assorted Potions.
