Mental Drift — Rob Forman of Sedimental Records returns to Texas with a set of experimental turntable playback. Founded in 1993, Sedimental has prided itself on taking risks by giving less established, newer, and experimental artists their first exposure by formal imprint. @sedimentaldrift
The Side Chicks (Denton) — super-group lead by supporting musicians turned rockstars, Chelsey Danielle, Lauren Upshaw, and Stefanie Lazcano. The Side Chicks will be performing works from the Aaron G. + Sarah Ruth = Love4ever score book. @chelly_danielle @laurenupshawesq @silky_jo
Aaron G. + Sarah Ruth = Love4ever — Aaron Gonzalez and Sarah Ruth recently co-authored a book compilation of their text and graphic scores. The book will be available for the first time at this show along with presentations of some of the pieces, so come and experience the Love4ever.
Aaron Gonzalez (Dallas) — bassist, vocalist, composer, improvising musician, visual artist and poet based in Dallas, TX. @squid.lickin.mother.lover
Sarah Ruth Alexander (Denton) — multi-instrumentalist employing hammered dulcimer, harmonium, electroacoustic sound art, and extended vocal techniques. Sarah also recently completed and is releasing Poetry of Place, a book of photography of and poetry about her home place in the Texas Panhandle. @sarahruthalex23
